Hi there, I just bought it.
I have been on the lookout for one for a while, but wanted to do the interior myself so this is perfect, as the inside is completely stripped. I have been looking on the tow hitch/bar for a number, but can't find one, does anyone know exactly where to look?

On my boat, now sold the number was on the metal plate above the 998Kg sticker.

Thanks Tom, but alas no metal plate, the whole thing looks a bit different, making me sespect it has been replaced at some time. I wonder if there are any other indications anywhere. Does anyone have any idea how many of the 64 made still survive?

Another question has just occurred to me, how do you tell the difference between a mark 1 and a mark 2?

The number was also written in pencil on the glass fiber below the glass on the right side at the front.

The mkII glass is 3 inch lower than the mk1. I don't know the figure but will find it tomorrow.

Looking at the area below the glass on the right there is a mark, but I can't make any sense of it. It looks like 11Y to me. Its quite large, about 8 inches in height.
I have placed an image at the following url.  http://dixonsmail.com/ebay/mark.jpg

From my drawing the MKII glass height is 610mm. I've no idea what the number is.

Well the glass height on this one is 610mm from inside frame to inside frame, so I guess it must be a MKII.
That narrows it down a bit, thanks for your help.
