During the refurb of my caraboat I did numerous drawings including sections though
the aluminium extrusions. The window hinges were made in the kingsditch lane
industrial estate area of Cheltenham & as there were numerous extrusion companys
there assumed the aluminium was produced there.
The seals on my boat had perished so I tried to find replacements but got nowhere &
used polysulphide mastic instead. I don't think you will be able to
source any new aluminium as it would not comply with current building regs.

Have you thought about building the superstructure using ready-made glass-fibre sheet
using Wilderness boats construction for inspiration? I think you could end up with
a better boat than the original, the joints were always prone to leaks.

If anybody would like my CAD drawings please email me at tombradley23 at aol dot com

The drawing can be used with this excellent program among others
