The Caraboat Club has been set up to help save this unique amphibious boat, to keep track of existing boats, and to help members in rebuilding boats.

The Caraboat’s designers have achieved a 16’ boat with a remarkable amount of space with full headroom sleeping 3 or 4 people. It has full cooking facilities and toilet washroom compartment. The small outside area in the front is ideal for sitting out on a calm balmy evening. The roof space is perfect for sunbathing and is strong enough to carry three adults. All in a 16’ boat weighing just 1600lb new.

The Club has information on Handbooks, History, Renovations and Glass moulds and plans for rebuilding the chassis.

The boat was designed to be used as a caravan and boat, with integral chassis and permanently mounted wheels with drop-down towing hitch.
